Mr. Yerkin Tatishev, the chairman of Kusto Group Holdings, has been recognized as the Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 in Kazakhstan

Yerkin Tatishev has been recognized as the Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 in Kazakhstan. In addition to the main nomination, he was also nominated in the category of International Presence.

An independent jury selected the Chairman of the Board of Kusto Group Holdings, with a total of 21 Kazakhstan businessmen making it to the final.

The Entrepreneur of the Year competition has a 35-year history and is held in 60 countries around the world. The organizer is EY (Ernst & Young) – a British audit and consulting company, one of the Big Four global auditors. In 2021 EY dedicated a contest to entrepreneurs who continued to develop business despite the pandemic.

Kusto Group not only runs a highly successful range of businesses, but has also established a strong track record in social projects.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Yerkin Tatishev created the charitable foundation #KustoHelp, which helps Kazakhstani medical workers and socially vulnerable segments of the population. Since its foundation, the total amount of aid provided has amounted to 1.1 billion KZT.

*The jury of the contest consisted of well-known businessmen, including Agris Preimanis (EBRR), Nurlan Smagulov (Astana Group), Raimbek Batalov (Raimbek-Group), Umut Shayakhmetova (Halyk Bank) and others.

Before you start moving furniture and painting walls, sit down and make a list of everything you need for an optimal workspace. Are you going to spend hours there, day in and day out? Do you only need a computer and keyboard? Do you need additional space for documents and stationery? Maybe you need glue and scissors?
